Groz-Beckert DPX5 Industrial Sewing Machine Needles

Genuine Groz-Beckert DPX5 needles for industrial lockstitch machines, suitable for Juki machines. This is a widely used industrial needle system, also sold as 134, 135x5, 135x7, DPX7 and SY 1955, so if your machine takes any of these, DPX5 is the needle you need.

Choosing your point type

Regular point (R): the all-round choice for woven fabrics such as cotton, polyester, shirting and suiting.
Ball point (FFG/SES): a slightly rounded tip that pushes between the fibres instead of piercing them. Best for knits, jersey and stretch fabrics, because it helps prevent snags, holes and skipped stitches.

Choosing your size

Use smaller sizes (Nm 60/8 to 80/12) for fine and lightweight fabrics, medium sizes (Nm 90/14 to 100/16) for everyday medium-weight fabrics, and larger sizes (Nm 110/18 to 120/19) for heavyweight fabrics, denim and thicker threads.
